Nancy Cox

Nancy\’s main interests
are directories and identity management, email archiving and retention, messaging
project management, regulation and compliance, and collaborative applications
such as calendaring, scheduling and team spaces. She has authored/edited seven books and two dozen articles on messaging topics.
She has been professionally involved with messaging and collaboration technologies
since 1987.
Previously Nancy was:

Manager of Information
Systems for Walt Disney World, performing strategic planning and implementation
of metadirectory services, messaging, calendaring, workflow and e-business
technologies for 55,000 users.

Sr. Technology Editor
for Network Computing Magazine managing Collaborative Computing editorial
coverage and a Real World Test Lab in partnership with Walt Disney World.

Sr. Systems Architect
for Lockheed Martin managing strategic planning, connectivity and directory
services for 190,000 users.

Currently Nancy is an Associate
Professor of Information Systems for the University of Maryland University College
– European Division. Certified in Distance Learning, her coursework focuses
on Database Modeling, Systems Design and IT Project Management. She holds a
BS in Education from the University of Georgia and an MBA in Information Systems
from the Florida Institute of Technology. Nancy is based in Orlando.
