Goodmail and Iconix Try To Protect Users From Phishing. We recently heard from two companies, both of which are setting out to fix the problem of verifying email sender identities. Goodmail Systems and Iconix are building similar businesses. In both cases, they would charge large email sending organizations to certify that their messages are actually sent by that organization. (This is a deliberately simplified view of their business models.)
